Flashforward

Flashforward is a brand new show created by the amazing people who brought us Lost, so you know you can trust its going to be good.

My basic knowlage of the show (before watching the first episode) is that 7 million (could be billion, lets just say everyone) all blackout at the same time and wake up with visions of what is in there futures. It sounds rather intersting, if you havent seen the promotion yet I sugest you watch it as it could probably hype it up a lot better than I can do without lieing.

The first episode actually starts in one hour, but I asume it will follow the same trend and be on mondays at 9pm on channel 5. I will make a more informed and judgemental review after the first few episodes but it does look like a very good show and like I mentioned before it is from the makers of Lost, so I have very high hopes for it.

Well after watching the first few episodes (I think I am up to episode 4/5) I have come to a rather solid conclusion that this show is awesome Very Happy

. I think they have a really good storyline and the details they have put in each episodes is near perfect (Not so much that you know whats going on before the characters do but not so little that your left with too many questions unanswered and totally confused about the entire thing).

I do however have some issues with it. Even though the storyline is good, it is a very restricted storyline. There is only ever so much you can do with a storyline like this before it starts getting repetative or tedious as they drag it out for as long as possable (Like heroes). After one more season they are going to struggle to find a way to keep it alive without creating some really poor aliens like things with aliens or some time travelling nonsence. Also I can't help but worry that the show will enevitable be bought by sky in order to force the already hooked fans of the show to buy sky to watch it, or suffer the dreaded whithdrawel syndrome which hits shortly after not viewing your favourite show for a while.

Other that that its a great show and if you haven't seen it yet then I suggest you do, and catch up on the episodes because it is a very confusing show, like lost was.
