Yep, that's pretty much the same as ours! Some of the events, such as Hang Tough and Power Ball, are exactly the same!!!

*Gasps* I seriously hope American Gladiators is nothing like the British version, in that case!
Anyway, I watched an episode of the vintage Gladiators from the 90s. It brought back so many fond memories...

Woot woot! I went to watch at the NIA back in the day, lol! I even had a sponge finger! Another one bites the dust ! Man good times=] That was before I realised there was a world out there. Now my life is consumed by building Pc's, lost and sleep. Bad Times =[

Indeed, I am so jelous of you and your live gladiator watching self. Foam fingers are one of the best inventions that have ever been invented. After the bottle opener and the T.V.

I watched the 1st episode of the new series the other day and it was ok but nowhere near as good as the old series.
However, all the crashmats have gone and have replaced by a swimming pool.
So if you fall of your duel podium or from the hang tough rings then you go down with a splash!
The new gladiators are good (especially Ice and Inferno!) but I don't like Oblivion. He tries to hard to be like Wolf which ruins it.
Now that Gladiators and American Gladiators are both back I wonder if we'll have International Gladiators again?

A swimming pool, you say? Hmm, I can't decide if that would be considered an improvement or if it would just spoil it...I guess the only way I can make an informed decision is by watching it, lol!

wait a minute, Are we watching the same one???
We have a Wolf, Toa, Milita, Siren, Titan, Crush, Venom, Justice, Phoenix. Do you have the same ones? Is it the same show? Also Mohamed Ali's daughter Laila, and Hulk Hogan are the Host.

Interesting concept, having a swimming pool instead of crash mats. However, like Sawbucks said, it might ruin the concept a little, I would have to watch it to find out, and that isn't going to happen any time soon.
