My friend recently decided o become an Emo, now he hangs around with goths and says he is in love with onee of them, but he doesn't kno what to do, despite having SO much experiance in this matter, I thought I'd ask here.

What are you asking? what should you do if your friend is turning emo? or what should he do about this crush?

basically id say...tell him/her to go for it! seriously...if he/she just goes for it whats the worst that can happen she/he will say no? not the end of the world!!

and if shes/hes an emo it doesnt matter...just make sure he/she knows that being an emo doesnt mean you just sit and cut yourself or take overdosses...
being "EMO" is a way of life, its the clothes you wear, the music you listen to, the things that interest you...not cutting yourself!!

yeah i have tons of Emo friends and they are nice people, they are bloody good at blackjack though.

I know what an emo is but I can't put it in words.

They are like Moshers (if you know what they are) I class myself as a mosher and so do all of the chavs that live.

nope i dont know what a chav or a mosher is! i tell ya you lot are only a few little years younger than me! But i must say the english language has change alot since i was a teenager!

Wow then I'm really behind times. I too do not know what that means. Here in the states a mosher is someone who gets in a mosh pit at a concert. my 2 sons do it when they go. it lets out any aggresions you have built up. it's a circle of people who bump into each other really hard (to say it mildly).

I'll be going to a concert with them Jan 31, to see SLAYER (yeah) one of my favorite bands. Pantera is another. anyone ever heard of them?

basically thugs you see smashing up buss stops and hanging out in large groups are chav's. moshers are rockers. they listen to rosk music, some have long hair and they wear baggy jeans and T-shirts and hoodies with there favourite bands on.

They are both pretty hard core speed metal rock. But I like all kinds of musicI go back to the Beatles, the Stones, some country music to Led Zepplin, well to slayer.

I told you guys I'm young. I go to concerts all the time with my sons who are 27 and 30 years old. last one I went to was in California it was the OZ Fest. Yes to me Ozzy Osborne is the dark king of rock and roll. I Love Him

no no! I ahve all of madonn's early albums, quite a few on LP actually, oh and on cd too! i like her music, and read about her when she's in the paper, but not sure i'd call myself a fan! My most fav songs, are, Like a Prayer and Dear Jessie!

Ellie, I too am a early fan of Madonnas well like you not a BIG fan like X but I do like her older stuff. Has anyone heard of Jewel? I like her stuff and I love Charlotte Church Christmas music. she was on "touched by an angle" (one of my favorite shows) even though it's not on anymore.

charlotte church has her own talk show here now, and she ain't no longer an angel!! loL!

yeah her sweat angelic voice has been replaced by a fould mouth. I dont really like nor dislike Maddona, i would listen to her music but i wouldn't scramble over my sofa to get to the stereo to play it again.

i do that with most songs except rap an hip hop, I cant get to the stereo fast enough when its on. Turn it off! TURN IT OFF!

I listen to pretty much anything that comes on the radio, but that may be because I can't be bothered to turn it off...
