Heroes Volume 3 |
|
So Volume 3 of Heroes is at an end. I was wondering what you all thought of it.
I personally LOVED it and despite what many have said, I feel that the show has gone from strength to strength.
I was slightly disappointed to learn Sylar wasn't Angela and Arthur's son but on the whole he has been an AWESOME character this volume. I was also DEEPLY UPSET when Elle was killed off. It was like Shannon being killed of Lost all over again!
I did like Tracy Strauss but she soon became old fast, as did Knox. I think the introduction of Daphne this season is a great choice and she is an amazing character! It was also great to see Robet Forster as Arthur Petrelli! What a great villain!!! It was also nice to see Malcolm McDowell back on the show as Linderman!
I now HATE Mohinder. I think the way he's been this Season is awful and I really don't like him anymore.
I loved the finale and the teaser for Volume 4 "Fugitives" was amazing (anyone else think that the president was meant to be just like Obama?)!!! Can't wait for Heroes' return on February 2nd!!!!
Love to know what you lot thought of Heroes this season!

I Loved it! Hate mohinder, not too keen on tracy, and nathan, well he's a hypocrite " um yes mr president i think we should lock away all of these people with abilities, even tho i myself are one of these people"
we also saw "Tracy" picking up mohinder, this could however be another alter ego or even Nicki or jessica. you know what heroes is like.

Overall I enjoyed this volume, though mostly on a pass-the-time-until-Lost-returns level. Going tool deep into analysis only means that I'll end up getting annoyed that the writers seem to have thrown all concepts of consistency out the window and decided to make stuff up that makes no real sense when compared to past events on the show, and hope that no one is paying enough attention to notice.
That being said, it did keep me reasonably entertained, and the last two episodes in particular were worth watching. Actually quite looking forward to volume 4's return, though the break between volumes is less than ideal...

oh, & imo, arthur petrelli was one of the worst characters to date..

I still haven't watched the last episode, my laptop is broken. But I don't care much for heroes now either. Arthur was a very bad character. He was too over powered and didn't actually do anything even though he was except appearing behind your favourite characters and stealing there powers or chopping there heads of, like sylar but with no purpose or control to it.
And killing off Adam was a huge mistake. I think they could have used him more and he was a very good character.
I will get round to watching the last episode at some point but I am not all too botheed about it.

I was very annoyed when they killed off Adam. Though I can only do so much complaining before I come to the conclusion that it could have been worse - They could have brought West back...
One person Heroes needs back is Christopher Eccleston, aka Claude the invisible man, provided they don't just bring him back to kill him off...

Fair enough, Tris. Fair enough. Like I said, it's just something to keep me occuppied while Lost is on hiatus. I really don't know what I'll do with myself when the series ends next year.

So I've been told, though I'm understandably sceptical of such a phenomonon. I'll believe it when I see it.

We will have to celebrate 2010 extra special then.
Life after lost does seem like a lost cause but there will be other highly addictive shows out there to get hooked on.

I look forward to the day we all meet up!

Haha, well, I've been able to drive for a while now, so it's no problem to me.

What car have you got? I was thinking of getting an old mini cooper. The new oes are a bit too girly but the old ones are great. I ca really picture myself in one of them.

Just a crappy little Corsa. I don't use it an awful lot, just to go to college once a week, the odd trip to work if I need to make a site visit, and the occassional trip somewhere at weekends, so I didn't see the point in splashing out on anything fancy for the time being. Especially since the insurance would have been through the roof if I'd bought a better quality car. I think in a couple of years, once I've (hopefully) got a couple of years without a claim on my insurance under my belt, I'll invest in something a bit more fancy.
And I'd like a Mini Cooper as well, preferably a red, white or blue one, then I can drive around all day humming the Italian Job tune...

Ah, we share the same mini fantasy my friend. I would play the theme tune in the background whilst I drive around and through Kingsgate shopping center.

Haha, yeah, I've always wanted to drive around in Mini and follow close behind a bus and shout out the window to no one in particular "Get the wheels in line! Get the wheels in line with it!"

Lol, aye, that would be good. But I would not like to follow a bus all the way to college just for that.
