Indeed it does! It started in the US on Monday night, and I've managed to track down the first two episodes online. 'Twas a very enjoyable two hours, I might add.

mmkkkk, Tris's thoughts on Heroes:

-first off, i did not watch it when it premiered on Mon. 9/24..the parents were watching the football game & i really didnt care enough to watch it on the smaller tv in the other room..i did however watch it when it repeated the following Sat., then watch the third episode when it aired on mon.

- Sylar is the Sh*t!!! he is, unquestionably, my fave character.

- i will still forever love Peter Petrelli

- any scene that involved Sylar was brilliant! they've finally begun to realize just how great Sylar/Zachary Quinto is and appear to plan on using him much more than they had =] =] =]

- yes, i'm on the villian's side Wink

- especially when he was taking Claire's power =] =]

- "Are you going to eat my brain?" "Eat your brain, Claire that's disgusting" hahah lmao!!!

- on the down side, Sylar said the words that i never wanted to hear: "Claire, you can never die" or something to that extent.
it frickin pissedddd me offf!! i hate her! she needs to die!!!! she seriously makes me loose all the faith that Sylar had restored in me for the show.

- and while im complaining about claire, is she reallly stupid enough to think that she could've killed *future* Peter Petrelli?!?!?!

- mk, other characters that need to die: Maya. wtf is she still around!?!?!? oh right, bc evidently Mohinder needed to get some.. wtf, kill her already!!! she gave him the formula to give people powers now kill her!!

- it was great to see Veronica Mars back =] ((Elle))

- i HATE the Tracy/Nikki/Jessica/who ever the hell Ali Larter is playing in a given episode plotline. its frikkin stupid!

- why do they insist on duplicating people's powers. we now how Isaac, desert version.

- I'm actually warming up to Sylar this season. In season 1, I was always wary of him because at any given moment he might slice off the top of one of my favourite characters' heads, which would ultimately anger me. Laughing

- Peter's pretty cool. I found the whole "insert present Peter into Jesse's body" kind of interesting, but I'm glad they've brought that to a close fairly quickly - I was worried that it was going to be dragged out far too long. Now I want to know what the future is like to make future Peter do all the things he did.

- The award for my favourite character still proudly goes to Matt Parkman. I just hope he isn't stuck out in that damn desert for too long.

- I'm hoping for some juicy character development from Sylar this season. We got a glimpse of exactly how his mind works in season 2, I'm hoping we'll be delving even further this year. Very Happy

- I laughed at that as well. Though I must admit that I was a bit disappointed at how he actually gets a new power. Just sort of pokes around with their brain, closes his eyes and "Bingo!"

- Having seen interviews with the writers about what they had planned for the second half of season 2, pre-strike, it seemed that Maya had a very significant role to play. I'm hoping they've thought up an alternative, but equally significant, storyline for her this season, because they need to give us some reason why the hell she was introduced in the first place.

- Yeah, I liked seeing Elle again, though I think she might do the old disappearing act for a while. I just hope she returns at a later point in the season.

- Actually, strangely enough, I'm quite intrigued about Ali Larter's story this season. In Season 1, I couldn't give a pig's fart about her, her storyline was dragged out to a ridiculous extent. Season 2 was equally boring, especially since she didn't have any powers at all for a majority of the season. But now, I'm quite interested to see just what's going on with her.

- It annoys me too! It gives the impression that the writers are running out of ideas for powers. When they introduced flying boy West last year, I suspected - No, make that "hoped" - that it was so he could be killed by Sylar, and Sylar could gain the ability of flight without having to kill Nathan. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case...

- Matt talking to the turtle was one of my favourite scenes in the entire episode. Very Happy

I was interested it sylar last season, in a good way this time, for once i didn't hate the villian. This season he is so cool, all the scenes with him in are the best and when he is on the screen you know something big is going down. I expecially like how they have tried to explain why Sylar does chop the tops off peoples heads.

I really dislike future peter. He is replacing sylar as the villian in my opinion and whats worse is he doesn't even realise it. Typical peter in my opinion. I havent seen enough of the real peter yet to cast judgement, but even with all those powers he has he can't stop himself being put in Jessies body? And how fufutre peter actually managed that is a mystory to me, but I hope he got it from a power, because as far as I am aware peter couldn't misplace people in other peoples bodies before.

I'm liking Elle, she is one of my favourite characters. I was so upset watching have the top of her head removed. It was a releif to see her explode on Sylar. Her sudden disapearance is a bit weird but hopefully they will have a big storyline for her soon, since she was kicked out of the company employ I hope to see her doing some free agent ass kicking.

Sylars mind is a facinating thing. We are begining to see a human side to him, like last season, rather than a monsterous animal that enjoys chopping the tops off peoples heads and "Eating" There brains.

Speaking of which i found that quote funny too, I half expected him to pull out a knife and falk and took in to her juicey brain Laughing

. Which reminds me. Is it just me or were all the other brains from Sylars previous victims missing? If he doesnt need the brain then why does he take it, unless he is planning on poking around in it later.

To tell you the truth i couldn't care less for this storyline. I can't deny i would like to see where it goes, but its nothing exciting. And i am sure thre has already been an Ice person before. Granted Sylar took the brain of the person but it has still been used.

Speaking of which it does annoy me that they can't think up any more powers. I have seem way too many duplications of powers. Nathans flight, the ice power as mentioned earlier and even the fire thing. I know Claires mum can't shoot it like the human flamethrower but you know she is going to do something special with it sooner or later. I don't think the painting the future is a power, but more of a thing the music and weird paste does to you. Mat can't paint the future, yet with those two at his disposel he can.

Mat talking to the turtle was so funny. I actually thought he was reading the turtles mind. You can count on Mat to bring home some laughs.

When I think about it, we haven't really had much of pre-Sylar Gabriel Gray. I want to see more of that, though I don't know how interesting it would be. I gather his life was rather dull before Chandra Suresh walked through his door, but I'd still like to see what he was like before he went on his brain-poking spree.

I think the writers have told us the gist of Sylars back story. I would like to see more but the writers don't seem too bothered about showing any more. I would like to see how and y he was put up for adoption but Angela, that would be interesting.

I think it's probably because I'm so addicted to Lost that I'm craving to find out about these characters' pasts, lol. I want some flashbacks, damn it! Laughing

Yeah, I saw a promo for the next episode, and Sylar makes a brief appearance. Let's just say his behaviour was...unexpected. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this future Sylar.

- i'm sure i'm in the minority, but i was surprisingly disappointed with the latest epi....

- Claire Bennet MUST die.

- Adam was definately one of the highlights...though i was kinda mad that he didn't appear till the very end..i saw David Anders' name in the credits and spent the whole epi waiting for his appearance..oh well, atleast he made one =]

- again, i am soo done with Tracy/Niki!!

- And Maya!! She needs to die too!!

- Gabriel Gray is totally boss.

- ^^ son named Noah?? im guessing those two get to be buddies then, over their time as partners...??

- wtf is the story with Mohinder..they need to explain that one more...

I'm still processing the latest episode, I don't quite know what to make of it. It had its good points, it had its bad points...

- I knew David Anders would be making a comeback in this episode, but I totally forgot about it whilst I was watching the episode itself, which was probably a good thing, since I wasn't sitting thinking "When's Adam going to appear?" the whole time. I really like his character, so I'm hoping he'll have some heavy involvement in the episodes to come. Not to mention that it should provide us with more Hiro/Adam scenes, which are almost always great.

- I'm a little confused about Tracy's story now. That doctor said she was a triplet, along with Niki and Barbara...Maybe I understood it wrong, but I thought Jessica (The original Jessica that was killed by Niki's dad, not Niki's crazy alternate personality) was supposed to be Niki's twin sister? Maybe she was just her regular, non-twin sister. Anyway, at least we now know why Tracy looks exactly like Niki. Though this probably means she's going to track down Barbara now, which I'm not too interested in. Ali Larter's story got interesting for a whole 4 episodes. Oh, well...

- Lol, I'm still waiting for Maya to do something useful. Maybe one of these days she will...

- Haha, future Gabriel was one of the best things about this episode. It's good to know that there's still hope for him, and it's actually only his power that makes him a psychotic killer.

- I wonder who Noah Gray's mother is?

- I would love a Sylar episode! Past, present or future. I still think a Sylar-flashback episode would be awesome, lol.

- I wondered how on earth future Peter managed to die as well, then I realised the Haitian was there when Claire shot him, so he wouldn't have been able to heal. However, since he was still apparently dead later on in the episode, after Costa Verde went "Boom!", surely this would have to mean that the Haitian had been in close proximity the whole time? This doesn't seem very likely. Then I remembered that in season 2, Elle and Bob gave Peter pills that cancelled out his powers (I think they were dubbed "Haitian pills"), so maybe something similar is going on here, and they've injected future Peter with something that continues to cancel out his powers?

- That was weird. The writers seriously need to establish what is going on with these powers. In season 1 and 2, it was assumed that they had something to do with the blood: Claire and Adam's blood was used to heal dead/badly injured people, so that supported this idea. Then this season, Mohinder discovers that Chandra Suresh had it all wrong, and it's actually adrenaline that lets these powers manifest. If that's the case, then how the hell did Claire's blood still manage to bring back Noah?! Now they've got this weird drug-paste that, when accompanied by some music, makes Matt and his strange African stalker see the future. I'm starting to think the writers are sort of fumbling around in the dark with this and making it up as they go along...

- I think the Peter/Sylar thing has the potential to be great, and I hope that it isn't just a case of Peter becomes Sylar, vice versa, but that they are both constantly drifitng between good and evil.

- I know, it's getting old, and fast. They need a disaster that's taking place in the here and now, not one that's going to happen that they have to try and stop...

- I'm actually not greatly interested in Mohinder this season, sadly. Maybe its just because he's acting so un-Mohinder-ish, but its just not doing it for me right now.

- I'm a little confused about Peter getting Sylar's ability as well. I thought he should have already absorbed it anyway, but who knows...

- Matt and the turtle is hilarious. I'm hoping we see more of this in the next few episodes. Laughing

I quite liked this episode, it did have its flaws but it was quite good too, especially with all of the Sylar scenes, they are always great.

- One of the many highlights of the episode was seeing Hiro dig up Adam. I had a feeling when Angela mentioned a "Key" that only Hiro knew the location of I had a feeling it ws him. Heroes is going to get a lot more interesting with Adam about again. The 1000, year old sure does bring a kick to heroes, and gives us a lot of good quality laughs now and then.

- Tracy's story line is way too confusing now. Its like the writer can't decide what to do with her yet so throw all of this s**t in to her storyline about her being a triplet to Nikki and Barbara. Which reminds me, I too thought Jessica was Nikki's twin, not this Barbara? I don't know whats happening there but its just stupid. The best bit of her entire storyline was when Nathan saved her and they had a moment with each other.

- Maya does seem to be doing bugger all lately. She seems to be there purely to pleasure mohinder and be used as an abuse bag when mohinder has one of his turns.

- Seeing how much Sylar has changed really was the highlight of the episode, as you pointed out Sawbucks. It was good to see that there is still some good left in him. I knew that he would be good in the future but I didn't expect that, it ws a pleasent suprise.

- Now you mention that Sawbucks, I too would like to know who Noah Gray's mother is. I would also like to know what happened to her, as Sylar seemed to be raising him on his own.

- A Sylar episode would be so cool, they could name it "Day in the life of a psychopathic killer," and have it follow him around, chopping the tops of peoples heads off. I doubt we will see much of that now though, he seems to be controling it rather well and coping with the hunger.

- My ownly guess is that Claire shot him in the head or something. She seems to know how to kill him, so it is my only guess. That and the fact the Hatian was there to block his powers. But still it is confuising how he has managed to stay dead. I kept expcting him to wake up, but he didn't. It kind of makes you feel that the writers only allow peter to use his healing powers when it suits the storyline, when really, it would be an ongoing thing.

- Good point Sawbucks, it does seem they are treading on there own toes with the way they contredict themselves. I have heard numberous ways the powers are formed so far on heroes. There was, like you pointed out, that the powers were in the blood, then that they were produced by the adreneline, and I heard Sylar mention they were brain impulses. So what is going on there is anyones guess.

- I am quite interested in Mohinders storyline, but only because I am waiting for him to turn into some evil, destructive creature and go on a mass killing rampage. Now I know that doesn't happen I am quite disapointed and will probably loose some interest in his storyline. Now i just want to know what happens to him once all his skin "melts" off.

- I love the Peter/Sylar thing. They could be partners and go on a brain hunting rampage. I am especially liking that fact Peter is now what i would call a Villian. He now has the hunger and is turning it to the power hungery monster Sylar used to be. Effectivly, Sylar and peter are switching places.

- It is getting so old. I am sure they have already done the "Human nuclear bomb." mass killing too, but the fact they always see whats going to happen in the future is a bit tedious. For once I want a disaster thats in the preasent. Also it seems Peter is always the cause of these disasters. Its rather amusing to know that the one person who is trying to save the world is the one that ends up destroying it.

- I thought he would have just absorbed it too, but maybe he can only absorb one power per person. He already has Sylars telekenisis, which isn't actually his origional power but his most commonly used one. Other than that I have no idea, and it isn't likely they will explain it either.

- I don't know about anyone else but why can a bullet through the head kill Claire and yet a nuclear bomb which wound desintigrate her and her small brain, wont kill her. The writers really have no idea what they are talking about with Heroes. They are totally overestimating the powers of some of the heroes.

- The turtle scenes are so funny. It is Matts spirit guide which he presumably has to follow, that much i got. I love the little turtle. I hope it becomes a regular in future episodes Laughing

- unfortunately, i always read the guest credits ((well, and credits too actually)) no matter what i'm watching so i do often spend epi's waiting for certain fave characters to show up...and can be quite frustrating, like the other night waiting for Adam..

- random sidenote: the other day i was watching CSI & saw David Anders name in the guest credits so continued to watch just to see him...then proceeded to through a mini spaz/freak out when he appeared Wink

- As for Noah Gray's mommy..i absolutely love the idea of is being ms. veronica mars =] =] =] how likely that is, i'm not sure yet, but i think that KB & ZQ could have insane chemistry & it could just be brilliant! =] =]

- & on a similar subject, based on the scenes for next week, i would say its safe to assume that we will finally be meeting daddy petrelli....i heard that he is going to be quite the villian....((pattern?? remember matt's daddy..))

- as i said last time, Peter & Sylar's role reversal could be just plain lame/dumb/waste of life/ect.. or it could be amazing...right now, its too early for me to form an opinion...

...i just hope they don't screw Peter & his plotline up beyond saving....

You could be right about Noah's mother being Elle. That would be cool, two of my favourite characters having a son together.

I didn't know we were going to learn the identity of Daddy Petrelli next week. That should be something good to look forward to. Its always good learning about new, evil villians about the place.

I too hope they don't screw peters storyline up too much either. if they are going to do this to him them they should keep him as evil, otherwise they should just quit with the "I can't control sylars power which i so willingly asked for." because if I find that there is some meraculous cure just because super peter has got the power I will be really pissed with writers.
