I've been away for the last week staying at a relative's (Nowhere fancy) and now I'm back home and I've got a WORKING internet connection again! WOOOOOOO!!! Very Happy

Hello, Mr Ben! It's good to hear that you've finally got your internet connection up and running again! My summer is almost non-existent, what with the (Up until yesterday) terrible weather and the fact I'm working as usual. Having said that, I am off Wednesday, Thursday & Friday this week to travel up to Aberdeen to see one of my friend's who's at uni there (He's working up there over the summer, so hasn't had the chance to come back home) so other than the four-hour drive, it should be a fun couple of days. Very Happy

What about yourself? Have you been away anywhere, other than your non-fancy relative's house?

Good to have u back Ben, and with a working internet. Now you have no excuse not to be online more often.

My summer hasn't been anything special, nor exciting. I got bit by a ferret on sunday and was taken to hospital for the 3rd time in a few weeks, on 2 of these "visits" it wasn't me that needed medical attention. Thats about the most interesting thing that has happened thus far. I have yet to enjoy my birthday, working a taylor hill animal center and going back to College, which will be welcomed with open arms.

Anywho, I feel inclined to say what Sawbucks said.

Hey guys!

Unfortunately, ive not been away anywhere great this summer.
However me and my friends are making a film this summer! I've made a 117 page-long script adaptation of the SNES game "Killer Instinct".
We started shooting a few days ago! It's going well!

I really am missing Lost though. In the Sun's TV Guide a few weeks ago it said Lost would be back in September. I wish!

Stupid, misleading TV guide. Somebody should sue them for printing flase information! Do you think if Lost was back in September I'd have taken up the unusual hobby of collecting used toothpicks and constructing a scale model of Paris? No sir-ee!

Anyway, that sounds like an OK job, Tris. Will you get to muck about with the toys during your lunch break? Laughing

I doubt it. As cool as that would be thats what Toy testers do, its a real job and they get to play with toys in there lunch breaks, and for the rest of the working day.

well, i still haven't heard back from them so as of right now i'm still living the life of spending my summer doing absolutely nothing =] =]

as for the new town, it's not so bad. i've gotten used to it. i still really miss my old home, but i should be able to make one more trip down there before school starts. =]
people have been really great & i've made a bunch of new friends; Brandy is like my 'sister from another mister' lol.

I'm glad you're getting on OK in the new town, though obviously you'll still be missing your old one.
And thanks for clearing up what the 'sister' version of "Brother from another mother" is: It's something I've always wondered, but never asked about. Laughing

As for the boyfriend part, if the boys in your town have even the merest capability of appreciating a great thing when they see it, I'm confident that you'll find someone soon enough. Very Happy

Haha, I once used "brother from another mother" and boy did I live to regret it! I said (Under the influence of alcohol, mind you) to my best friend's sister that I was like her brother from another mother, and she started using it instead of my name every time she saw me for about 10 months, until I eventually managed to get her out of the habit... Laughing

I'm glad to hear everyone is doing ok. Even though it can be boring sometimes, at least we all have our health. I'll be going to Hawaii in Feb. but thats about all I can say I'm going to do.

And in a bizarre twist, I agree with blitz: Our main job on this forum is to make sure everyone is kept happy and smiling. And also to secretly gather inside information about Ben in order to aid our plot to overthrow him with a bout of flu and the mother of all wedgies, but mostly the happy and smiling part...

Yes I too get a smile often when coming on here. I guess it's because everyone makes everyone else here feel very comfortable. Nobody really judges us in a negative way (well except for Ben, he does get his share). In a loving way I'm sure.
