Great actor and i really like him in LOST, i think that he plays his character really well. I find his flashbacks a bit boring but still informative.

Matthew Fox is a great character.
LOST would be weird without Jack.
However, I'm not a fan of Jack. His flashbacks are boring and he cries too much!
On the other hand, he's a good leader!!!

I'm starting to think that Jack might be killed of in Season 3.
Even though I'm not a Jack fan, I hope he isn't killed off!

It's hard to believe Jack was originally going to be killed by the monster and not the pilot, in the first ever episode!!!

When Jack was originally going to die in the Pilot Episode he was going to be played by former Batman star, Michael Keaton.
However, when the writers kept Jack alive, Keaton dropped out of LOST saying, "I would only do a one off episode. I'm not interested in a whole season/series"

i realy dont like jack, first i didnt care about him, then he anoyed me, then i was sympathetic over him but now he's back to anoying me. Evil or Very Mad

I think he is a great charactor (as well as being easy on the eye) But apart from that, he is the glue of LOST. But recently, he's been quite annoying with that whole power struggle with him and Locke.
And I wish he and Kate would just get on with it!!!!

He has been really unfair with Locke lately.

IMO he is the best actor on LOST tho

I liked him a lot in the first season. But Locke is my best.

Funny, I didn't like him in the 1st series but now I like him, I'm not sure why I just find him interesting i guess even though his flashbacks are a bit boring.
Still not my fave but would still be upset if they killed him off.

UI actually quite like him too. I like he can sometimes be funny without meaning to. eg In "The Long Con", when he asks Locke for the combination for the armoury and Locke says "I’m gonna go ahead and assume that you’re asking me because you’re worried that I might fall off a cliff or something, that it would be irresponsible for just one of us to have access to this room, rather than this being an issue of trust"
to which Jack replies "Well, there are a lot of cliffs on this island, John"

I'm not entirely sure that was meant to get laughs, but I enjoyed it anyway! He's been constantly growing on me as the show progresses!

I think he's going to show more of himself in this season than he has before. (I hope).

Yes i think it is safe to say that without Jacko there would be no lost. I still dont like him but i think watching him with Juliet is some damn good T.V. Mostly because of Juliet Wink

ok. i basically hate Jack with a burning passion. the only reason i dont want him to get killed off like i used to is that ive grown to love hating him. he thinks he's god or something the way he acts like he's perfect & cant fail. then he goes & cries in a corner when he does. & i personally dont even find him attractive...maybe he'll occassionally look cute in a scene or pic but nope, doesnt do anything for me.
& i dont think he holds LOST together, i think the show could go on without him. itd be a bit of a struggle but it could.

i will say that Matthew Fox is an amazing actor! *though not my fave & i dont think he's the best on the show. huge Josh & Dom fan* the way he can play Jack so believable & incredibly that i can hate him so much instead of just thinking of him as a totally lame character played lowsy by a lowsy actor is amazing.

We have so much in common, like i dont fancy Jack ether, i much prefer Claire Laughing

I have actually grown to like Jack. Not so much that i think he is a good chricter because i dont but i think i am seeing more of Jack than a leader and a control freak. The whole Juliet and Jack storyline is very good and is really making Jak seem more than just a surgeon with a bad bedside manner.

Ok we all know what a big Sawyer fan I am, But for some reason I want Kate with Jack, I wonder if deep down inside I don't want Sawyer with anyone because it would make me jealous lol lol lol. But for real I just think Kate and Sawyer are too much alike and that would not be good for either of them I think Kate needs someone like Jack in her life, Someone good. Like her husband is. Because Kate wants to be good in life and with Sawyer I would not see that happening. I can relate to Kate somewhat with her life. I always had the bad boys, and there came a time when I did not want that life anymore, And I needed someone like her husband or Jack in my life. ( Which by the way I am married to a nice boy and not a bad boy) so yeah that's my thoughts anyway sorry for being so long.

Ok can we just stop this talk of Fate and Scottish and English rivalry and look at the facts.

Charlie is a Rockster. he said he wants to get his band back in action when he gets off the island. So where in his little gigs is he going to have time for Claire and Aaron.

second Charlie causes more harm when he is with Claire than good, whilst Desmond seems to be the only one that is doing anything for Claire.

Third Charlie would be dead of it wasnt for Desmond, infact Charlie should be dead. Desmond has been messing with fate to keep Charlie alive and its about time Fate got its own way.

Charlie is no good to Claire if he is alive or dead but at least if he is dead he is not holding her back from someone like Desmond.

Charlie cant protect Claire. He cant use a gun, he cant use a knife well enough. he doesnt even have a decent punch on him. Desmond could protect Claire and Aaron to the hills.

Charlie takes his life for granted. Although Desmond his saving his life every day Charli seems too selfish to care that Demond is the only one keeping him alive.

Thats all i can think of right now because i havent watched episode 13 but once i do i bet i can find more about why Charlie shouldnt be with Claire as apose to Desmond. Ow and BTW this is my opinion so you can stick with your Chaire ships all you want.

Yes it would be fun but Charlie is going to die. Even when he gets off the island fate will want him dead. Desmond cant protect him forever. If Charlie does win then Desmond could just stop saving Charlie and have him die.

Although it would be funny to see how it pans out my money is on the Scotsman.

Hehe, no Englishman can ever outdo a clairvoyant Scotsman! Desmond has the upper hand in that he's stronger than Charlie: He was in the army, he is in good shape (Since he whooped Jack's ass in the race up the stadium stairs and pulled Claire out the water quicker than a cheetah with wind), and he laid one hell of a rugby tackle on Charlie. So, if Charlie resorts to violence, Desmond will rip him a second corn-chute. Charlie does far too much lying to be trusted anymore, and something tells me Claire won't be too pleased if/when the truth comes out about Sun getting attacked. And, as blitz pointed out, Desmond has the ultimate "Plan B": If all else fails, he can just let Charlie die. Wink

I would gladly let Charlie be electricuted, and let him drown (Obviously i would go in after Claire after Charlies attemps fail, or i shall just stage the whole thing, buy a Claire look a like Dummy from We-Are-Dummies and do it that way Twisted Evil

) and i would most certainatly be honoured to what his back, legs and arms break as the waves crashed his body into the side of the cliff but something tells me things with Charlie and Claire are going to get a whole lot better befor they get any worse. Sad

You have just summed up all of my thoughts on Jack.

I hate people calling anyone the main charicter. I mean Yeah we saw Jack first but we saw Vincnt second so does that make vincent the second most important charicter. Does it hell as like. Jack, Kate and Sawyer are only classed as the more important charicter because they have so much problems with there lives that they have to have several flashbacks just to explain it all. and with Jack its all just about his father and his ex-wife. I mean get over yourself Jackass. But unlike Jack Kate and Sawyers flashbacks are actually interesting. The most interesting thing that happened in Jacks flashbacks was when he was beaten up by those guys in Stranger in a strange land.
