Seriously, Ben, why didn't you create the site a day earlier? It would sound a lot better to say that this lost forum was started on 22nd September, lol!

What I want to know is why you didn't tell us all sooner. It wouldn't be so short notice otherwise.

What, 16 days isn't enough notice for you? What could you possibly have to do in preparation that takes more time than that?

It would have been EVEN cooler if had been two years and one day earlier, but then that's not exactly realisitic...I wonder if any fansites were actually created for Lost on the day it first aired...?

No idea, but if there is then they get the breif, specail feeling of being the lost fansite with the unique quality of sharing its start date with lost.

I wish I could go back in time and create a Lost fansite on the day it aired...Wait a minute, I'm Scottish! If Lost has taught me anything, it's that Scottish people have the ability to travel back in time, to predict the future and to never feel the need to fully button up their shirts...Success!

Happy Birthday, Lost Island!
I don't really know what to say, since Ben's kind of covered it all...Just that I'm glad to have met all of you (Even blitz), and I hope that the forum will pick up when Lost returns, because I miss all the banter with everyone.
And yes, Heroes was exceptionally AWESOME...

Indeed, Happy Birthday Lost Island!
It doesnt feel like two years, that said we have had a lot happen over those two years. We have had fun, push on through, through the high and lows, and I wouldn't change any of it. This place really is the bees nees, the cats pajamas and truely is the best lost related place on earth, fully of amazing people (especially Sawbucks) and so many different personalities, that you will find it hard to shake a stick at one of them.
Now thats done i can now start complaining at how I havent see heroes season 3 opener yet.

Ah, you must see Heroes, blitz! My jaw dropped a good few times (More than is medically advisable in the space of two hours), and I can say that my hopes are a lot higher this season than they were after seeing the first two episodes of season 2.

I have just watched it and i must say i am very impressed. This season started off way better than the rest. All those shocking moments and suprises that they unleashed litterally had me begging for more. My head is spinning with all of these things that have just happened, most of which I can make little sense of.
I cant wait to see more, it should be an awesome season.

Yeah, it was craziness from the word go, unlike the first two seasons, though season 1 was understandable, since it was just getting into the swing of things. Like you, I'm still trying to get my head round some of the stuff, whilst at the same time swearing loudly at no one in particular about the fact I'll have to wait a week to see the next episode...

Lol indeed, it is a pain. I did notice the none stop action all the way through. i hope they havent put all there eggs in one basket, which I am sure they havent. i expect there to be loads of twists and turns along this Heroes journey.

Heroes was great!
Especially the cliffhanger in episode 2!
And did anyone else feel sorry for Elle in the scene between her and Angela?

Lol, funnily enough, I have almost no interest in Claire's story this season. In season 1, I thought she was quite interesting, especially since she was heavily tied to the "save the world" story, in season 2 brought along the West fiasco...I'd rather not even talk about that, lol. So far this season, I'm far much more interested in pretty much all the other characters' stories, including Niki/Tracy (Who was probably my least favourite in seasons 1 & 2, besides the obvious)

I'm with Sawbucks on this one, Claire is as interesting as watching a blank wall. Even watching paint dry is more exciting.
Also, whilst we are on the topic of Claire, I don't care how many times people mention it she can die. Simple chop off her head, like Angela saw in one of her premonisions and she wont get back up I asure you.

Yep, last season Adam and Angela explained that a nice bullet through the brain or being decapitated would put a stop to the "healing process." I just think that Sylar doesn't realise this yet. I wonder if they did it on purpose so that, in future, they have him go on a "Mwahahaha! I'm invincible!" run and he is eventually stopped by getting his head sliced off.

Yeah, by that pritty fine swprd of Hiro's. Or Noah puts a bullet through his brain. Which reminds me, why doesn't anyone shoot for the head anymore. Its like all the characters on heroes are fully aware that it would kill whoever thinks they can't die and are purposly avoiding it.

I guess it's easier to try and pump a few bullets into someone's torso than aim for their head...Until, of course, said person stops the bullets with telekinesis and either shoots them back at you or sends you, yourself, flying...
