Just wondering what people are making of the chart-topping US singer Lady Gaga?

I got quite hooked on "Just Dance" after hearing it on the radio and tv a lot. I then went on to download it and the song "Poker Face" and I really love both of them and listened to them a lot. Today I ended up buying the album, "The Fame", and I think it's AWESOME!!! I liked every single track!
I know she's not the best singer when she's live (as some of you may have seen on youtube or on her American Idol appearance) but the album is fantastic!
I also love her unique fashion! Her outfits are pretty cool and she looks great! Good work from the haus of gaga! Razz

Yea, I just can't get in to that. maybe it's my age or something, No, I just don't like that kind of music. I like the old rock and roll. Ozzie, ACDC, Led Zepplin stuff like that. but I guess for the younger generation she'll do just fine.

I am not too into that kind of stuff. I wouldn't listen to it at home. But when I go out with my friends her songs are almost always played and you can't help but dance to them.

Cheryls right, I think they appeal more to the younger audience.

well, i'm in the minority with my friends but i am not a fan...i've only heard her two singles, Just Dance & Poker Face, but i don't like either of them.. not sure why.. for some reason i just don't like her.. and i'm a fan of most of the top40 music & such...

Meh, I'm fairly neutral on the subject, though as Blitz pointed out, they seem to be playing everywhere you go, so you have to learn to put up with them, or buy earplugs.

mk, so I just thought I'd post that I've changed my opinion on Lady GaGa. for some unknown reason that I don't understand, I love LoveGame ((I'm beginning to think I just like songs with dirty lyrics.. Confused

))...after hearing that single I decided to check out some of her other stuff & I admit it, I keep playing it...though I still can't stand her first two singles

The Haus of GaGa does provide Lady GaGa with some really...unusual pieces!!! Gotta love her!!!

As for seeing her live Mr Sawbucks, I am very jealous. However, from footage I've seen of her, she isn't exactly the greatest live performer but at least she doesn't lip-synch entire concerts like a certain Britney Spears!!!

Britney Spears has been through a lot and has touched many lives. Thank god I am not one of them, I think that if she was anything of what she makes out to be, then she wouldn't have to pretend to sing.

Don't get me wrong, I like Britney and own two of her albums (plus her single where she duets with Madonna) but I just can't see why she choosed to mime.

As for the Backstreet Boys, I've never ever liked them.

the Idol tour was F***IN AMAZING!!!! it was wed. the 19th & IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!! the only thing that could've made it better would've been if Adam had come out after the show to meet fans ((but he'd twatted that he was on vocal rest for the next bunch of shows so I knew that there was a really good chance he wouldn't be out..I missed him by 2 shows!! he started coming out again 2 shows after mine Sad

oh well))
BUT I MET KRIS ALLEN!!!!! HE IS THE CUTEST THING EVERRRRR!!!!
