I'm lucky my birthday was in September so I didn't actually have to buy this myself.
Have to say I really enjoyed the easter eggs, as well as the outtakes and other special features. The store also gave away a bonus disc with 'The Journey' on it and whatnot.
Of course my friend has been 'borrowing' my boxset since last November *grumble*

I loved the boxset!!!
I liked the easter egg where charlie asks shannon if she's seen lord of the rings (he's meant to ask wether she's heard of Drive Shaft!). Quite funny!!!
I leant my S1 boxset to my Food Technology teacher.
She didn't get time to watch it though because she had coursework, homework and exams to mark!!!

Yeah I liked that too! Where's she's like 'What that was like 24 hours long with those retarded midgets running around' or something to that effect.
I miss my boxset now....
I should call up my friend and harass her

I loved that scene with Charlie & Shannon too. I'm so glad that I got that for my birthday, so I didn't have to buy it myself.

Easter eggs are specila features which you have to find out yourself or go on the internet to find out. These would consists of things like 'going to a certain deleted scene, press left 3 times and the curser will take you to a different spot that you couldn't normally see.

Here's a list of the Season 1 boxset Easter Eggs for anyone who can't find them:
French Distress Call
Volume 2
Select "Episodes" and highlight "Main Menu" then press right twice and a dot will appear. Press enter to hear part of Danielle Rousseau's distress call.
Plane Drop
Volume 6
Leave it on the main menu page for a couple of minutes and, eventually, the plane crashes down to the ground.
Alternate Title
Volume 7
Highlight "Tales From The Island" and press left twice to highlight "Disc 7". Press enter to see a considered alternate main title sequence.
End Of Climb Sequence
Volume 7
Select "Lost Revealed" then select "Deleted Scenes". Highlight "The Climb" and press left 3 times and a dot will appear. Press enter to see the above-mentioned alternate version of the end of the climbing sequence from the pilot.
Smiling Orange Sequence:
Volume 7
Select "Tales From The Island" and highlight "Main Menu" then press right twice and a dot will appear. Press enter to see Terry O'Quinn filming the orange-eating scene from the pilot.
