Forum Tidy-Up

I am now tidying the forum up and making it look a lot neater!

You may have noticed that forums such as "Lost Magazine", "Lost Books", "Lost Action Figures" and others have now gone. Don't worry, these have all now become sub-forums of a section called "Lost Merchandise".

Also the "DVD's" section can now be found in the Lost-Discussion section of the forum.
Also "Fanfic" will be moving from "Non-Lost Discussion" to "Forum Activites".

"The Lost Experience" has now gone as it is no longer needed as there is no Lost Experience running.

Also "Member of the Month" will now merge with "Forum Awards" to create a new topic called "The Lost Island Awards"

"The House Of X" may also go and be replace by a "VIP" area where users with so many posts may talk to one another. This is yet to be decided.

If you think there are any topics that SHOULD be added that aren't currently on Lost Island then please let me know!

Sounds good to me, but maybe we should have a clear up of threads as well, like get rid of really, really old threads way back before Cheryl and Trish's time here, and maybe even my time here.

No way! We can't get rid of old threads! It would be like removing certain things from your memory simply because they happened a long time ago! Besides, they show how the forum was when it first started, and in turn show just how far the forum has come since then. They also serve as tributes to past members who, for whatever reason, no longer visit Lost Island. Deleting all that stuff would be an insult to them!!!

We could always make a recycle bin section to put them in.

However, I have to agree with Mr. Sawbucks! They're all part of Lost Island's history and are there for all to see!

They're not really doing anyone any harm where they are now, so I really don't see the point in moving them, but in the end the decision doesn't lie with me. Just my two cents.

Also, all the old topics will be on old pages which people won't look at anyway

Yeah, it's not as if the place is muddled with old topics that people have to sort through to try and find new posts, since the topics are sorted in order by the most recent post...

Oh my God, imagine if it didn't automatically put the most recent topics first. That'd be an absolute nightmare. Never mind a tidy-up, we'd need a garbage disposal! LOL! Laughing

Lol Yeah like they had to do with the C4 forum, that was a right old mess.

Lol fair enough, what is a forum without its memmber having secret, hidden agenda's of some sort to over throw the admin and clame the forum for their own evil uses. Well thats not my agenda I can asure you *Also does shifty eyes*
