A lot of people know that I don't like charlie!
However it's come to my attention that not many people do actually like him!

Are there ANY Charlie fans here?!?!?!

he may have some nice lines but he uses them to pick on Locke and worm his way out to trouble with Claire an even after all the stuff he ha done he is still with her.

I never really liked him - he seems to always be someone's sidekick - Claire/Locke/Eko/Hurley....

I like charlie, he can be sweet and all, but I don't like him as much as I did at the start of the series.

I'm the same as you, Harrie! I still like him, but I liked him a LOT more in season 1 than 2 or 3!!

I think it might have something to do with all the other things going on in the series and the locke vs Jack situation, then the Jate kiss ect. He just seems to become less of an important character than he was at the start when he went on all the hikes and seemed to join in a lot more and also was a more jokey character than he is now.

Yeah, you're right. He was a lot more involved in season 1, then we started seeing less and less of him after that. And the whole "Fire + Water" episode didn't exactly put him in a good light, did it? Though he still gets his jokes in every now and then. Still a good character, just not as important nowadays, it seems...

Yeah, he still gets some good lines in now and again, and hopefully later on Charlie will come in more and hopefully in a better light.

Yeah that episode is just inching for me to make Charlie horrible. I dont think that Charlie will be able to go back to hischeerful little hiker self. He has too many secrets to reveal. But he did get a few good lines in in Further instructions.

he has good lines but i think after "fire + water" he seems much darker and just not the same as before. It would be cool to see if he can start to go back to his cheerful self after everything that has happened.

Yes it would but for that to happen he would have to let all his secrets out, like he was the one that "Kidnapped" Sun. Also i think he should let go of what Locke did to him in fire + water. Charlie would have done the same if someone had taken aaron. If he wants to punch him then have him punch him but all this "I told you so" Business is bad fo his charicter.

Yes, exactly. He punched Sayid in "Exodus" when Rousseau took Aaron, so he can hardly blame Locke for doing the same. And I think he is starting to finally let go of what happened in "Fire + Water": Fair enough, at the beginning of "Further Instructions", he still "detested" Locke, but throughout the episode, he started to have his confidence in Locke restored. For me, it was when he said "Not a bad speach" at the end that did it. I know he could have said that about Locke even when he still hated him, but he seemed to show some respect when he said that, so it looks like Charlie and Locke are back on track to becoming allies. I'll shut up now...

Hmm, well, we never know with Lost! But I fear that Charlie is gonna end up in some really deep s**t with some of the survivors, Claire, Sun and Jin being three of them...
