that's a good way to put it, lol.
this episode was great. Sayid brings badass to a whole new level.
I've been saying this for the past...well, whole show really but.., I EFFIN LOVE SAWYER!!!!
"So you can either come join the party in Dharmaville or you're on your own" hah
The absence of Locke was predictable, yet still a bit disappointing..
Oh Hurley..can always count on him for a good laugh
how long before Kate officially screws everything up between Sawyer & Juliet?? It's going to happen... Kate+Sawyer <33 anyone else is always going to be second best.
Roger Workman was back =] =] haha! though that guy is suchhh an asshole!
even little Ben is creepy

I'm glad Lost is back to the original flashback format! And with the fact that we've seen hardly anything of Sawyer & co's time with Dharma, we still need explanations for what happened to Kate, Ben and Sayid on the run-up to Flight 316, and that we still need Daniel's and Miles' backstories, and the potential stories of newcomers Caesar and Ilana there should be a fair amount of ammunition to keep the flashback formula running for a good while.
This episode is one of the many reasons why Sayid is my favourite character. The "torture" scene was awesome, not least of all because of Sayid's facial expressions.
From the start of the season, I've been an adamant follower of the "Whatever happened, happened" notion (And in time travel in general before that); I just hope the last scene of this episode doesn't shoot down this idea (Pun very much intended).
My suspicions are starting to grow about Amy - I can't quite explain why, but I get the feeling she might be undercover for the Hostiles. It would certainly explain how Ethan comes to be with the Others, for one thing...
Does anyone else think Juliet is going to leap into action and try and save Ben? Remember in episode 6 of season 4, "The Other Woman", in the flashback when Harper, the Others' therapist, said "You look just like her" to Juliet? I'm thinking she might actually be her.
