American Idol S8

I figured that it was about time for an Idol thread. Anyone else watching this season??

my faves:
- Kris
- Adam

Kris is kinda a hott Jason Castro ((loved Jason)) though he's got a John Mayer vibe ((love John too!)) my favorite this season.

Adam is my other favorite. He's different/unique, unpredicable, and potentially one of the most talented people on the show overall..and he's a good looking guy ((the pictures floating around the web won't change my opinion of him)) ...though I can't stand what he's been doing with his hair the past few weeks though..

loved Matt's performance tonight, despite what the judges said. I've been saying he should sing The Fray since I first heard him sing while on the piano. ((and the fact that You Found Me is potentially my favveee song at the moment made me naturally inclined to love his performance))

Megan is nottttt good!! she has to go!! now!

Anoop isn't a bad singer but he's sooo frickkinn boring!! the past three weeks I've been bored practically since the songs began...

Matt is good, but I'm still not on the Matt bandwagon yet. Though him singing The Fray made it more likely.

Danny is good. Typically like him.. though I love the original What Hurts the Most soo much so I wasn't the hugest fan of his version.

I really like Adam. he's my first choice, I agree Meagan has to GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. now.

I also like Allison alot too, for me it's between those two Allison and Adam . lil rounds is pretty good but I'm not rooting for her. I like Scott but I don't think he's good enough to get far.

I think Danny has a chance to be good. But yea I watch it to Tris.

after the top 36 performance i was an Alison fan but idk..just kinda not so much anymore...

as long as Kris or Adam win i'll be happy..

lil is just like hundreds of other contestants we've seen before...nothing special..

Ok firstly, when this season started I wasn't sure on new judge Kara but I now think she's a great addition to the judging pannel.

I liked Alexis but she was voted out early but I have to say my 2 faves are Danny (I think that's his name, he's the widow) and Lil Rounds. I think they're both really great performance. I think Adam's okay but I don't get the hype to be honest!

If you mean that he has lost his wife, then I am pritty sure its just he is widowed. I don't know whether this is correct but isn't a widower someone who makes people widows? in which case it would require Danny to be.......well......you get the picture.

3. Lil is good but nothing original..at all..we see contestants like her every season & in my opinion she's no better than any of the past losers....

No, the actual term for a man who has lost his wife is "widower". I understand why you would think that the term would refer to the person that had died, essentially making their spouse a widow, but it's not the case. Anyway, enough about this rather depressing subject...

I am not too into my american idol/pop idol anymore. I just enjoy watching the auditions. One of my firends is going to take part in this years pop idol.

I really can't stand reality shows as a whole, though I must admit I've had a few laughs at some of the atrocious auditions (The blokes that sang "Mysterious Girl" on X-Factor last year being a personal favourite). Once it gets past the audition stage, I lose all interest. As for shows like Big Brother, I lose all interest as soon as I hear the title of the show...

I can't seem to kick the habbit of watching American Idol...I always end up tuning in....

..same with Survivor, but thats simply because i have no life & there's nothing else on at 8 on thurs. so i find myself watching this rediculously dumb show.

the reality show that i do love though is the Amazing Race. great show.

honestly, i didnt like Alison the other night & didnt understand the judges praise

Matt is really good, but doesnt have the fanbase...

Kris is sooo good. it doesnt hurt that he's reallllyyyy hott!!! ;]

Adam is amazing. in my opinion he's the best to ever grace the Idol stage..he's too good for Idol. One of the biggest things that the judges tell people is to be original & make it your own; Adam does that every single week! And he does it incredibly!! every week is amazing! i love him. & im really glad that america is willing to get over the fact that he's gay because as he said in an interview, he's a singer and an entertainer, it doesn't change anything..

mmkkk, so I have finally realized *admitted that* I have a problem. I am hopelessly & eternally in love with Adam. when I was reading the play-by-play of the results show *first piece of evidence, I read play-by-plays of Idol results shows, lol*i would watch them but LOST is on at the same time-though my love for Adam is beginning to rival my love for LOST (gasp!)* and I began to hyperventalate when I found out that he was in the bottom 3 *still not convinced that it's true, btw. he deffff wasn't in the bottom 2, they only did that to create hype & drama, which it did* then when I heard how they made him pick a side when he wasn't even safe the tears began. & it only got worse the more I read. The whole next day I was still a wreck, totally upset/depressed/angry/ect...
-sigh- and I don't even care at all. I spend so much of my time on Adam: watching vids, listening to him, talking about him, thinking about him.... *stops talking before y'all deam me completely & totally crazy and no longer talk to me, and ban me from our nice little forum*

just thought i'd share this with y'all..why?? i have nooo idea...but it's late, i'm tired, and have been watching his performances repeatedly for the last hour & a half...

well, they put him in the bottom, but i'm not convinced of how real it was. he defff wasn't bottom two

ADAM DESERVED TO F***** WIN!!! ((on the bright side he's not trapped in a sh*tty contract with No Boundaries)) but I was such a wreck when he lost!!!

No Boundaries was soo written for Danny...too bad he sucks & didn't make the finale ((which he would have lost by sooo much!!))

the reason Kris won was mostly because of anti-Adam votes....

I've liked Adam from the start, he's got one hell of a voice. I thinks it's better he didn't win too. He will be so big on his own anyway. I LOVE HIS SINGING... OMG Tris. you got tickets to see them on tour? I'll bet your ready to explode... when are you seeing them?
